The Somnus pack is thrown into turmoil as their healer, Nevermore, goes missing. Old friend Aura brings an injured rogue to apprentice Midna for help. Meanwhile, pack members exhibit puzzling symptoms, growing weak and losing consciousness. El's discovery of the lifeless body of the pack's salutary in the woods reveals the severity of the situation - an epidemic is sweeping through the territory. Panic grips the pack as they struggle to find answers and heal their ailing members.
